Descrizione
The Fender Player Plus Stratocaster features everything needed for a modern level of playability as well as the gigantic tonal range of three newly-developed Noiseless™ pickups that pack a bright and balanced foundation sound. Via the push/pull switch of the second tone pot, you can add the neck pickup to positions 1 and 2 of the 5-way switch for even richer tone and, as a sweet bonus, this genuine Fender axe comes with a deluxe gig bag thrown in.
The Player Plus Stratocaster: Focussed on Comfort
While Fender typically grace guitars with a 9.5" fretboard radius, this fresh model has a flatter 12" radius that combines with 22 medium jumbo frets for unrestricted playing comfort and easy pitch bends. Also, the maple neck sports a snug Modern C-profile and rounded fretboard edges for a smooth feel, asserting the fact that this Strat is made for all-night playing sessions.
High-Grade Build
It's worth knowing that Fender have far from skimped on crucial parts like the bridge and machine heads. Quite the opposite, since the Player Plus Stratocaster comes fitted with a high-quality, two-point synchronised tremolo bridge fitted with steel block saddles that keep the tuning in check while you unleash all kinds of vibrato effects. At the same time, the Deluxe Locking tuners make swapping out worn-down strings child's play, finishing a Fender-grade workhorse you can rely on - whether in the studio or on stage.

Met deze Player Plus serie heeft Fender zichzelf overtroffen. Alleen al de waanzinnig mooie Tequila Sunrise paint job laat je watertanden. Om maar niet te spreken over de noiseless pickups, waarbij je het normale gezoem van de SS pickups helemaal kwijt bent. Geen foutje of misser in de afwerking. De gitaar komt uit de kunst afgesteld met een prachtig lage actie, blijft keurig gestemd staan, en ik heb alles ermee geprobeerd, van jazz tot funk tot bluesrock. Een voorrecht een dergelijke gitaar te kunnen spelen, met heerlijk afgeronde randen op de gitaarhals, de geweldige klank en het kunnen toevoegen van bijzondere andere klanken door de push/pull schakelaar op de tweede volumeknop. En dan die zijdeglans afwerking van de hals, beter kun je niet krijgen.

Dit is eigenlijk een Amerikaanse gitaar. Wel gemaakt in Mexico, maar de hele uitvoering en feel, alles is USA. Amerikaanse afgeronde randen op de hals voelen geweldig. Locking tuners zijn bijzonder stemvast. Pickups ervaar ik als bijzonder goed. Was wel even benieuwd naar 12 inch radius, maar ook dit speelt erg makkelijk en vooral zuiver. Een prachtige nieuwe serie van Fender, waar denk ik, niet voor niets een Fender Ultra-logo op zit. Deze gitaar zet je niet snel weg.

Dit is mijn eerste strat, les Pauls waren de gitaren die ik ken. Maar man wat speelt dit ding lekker. Mooi afgewerkt en de afgeronde frets zijn echt een mega plus. Ik ben heel blij met deze strat. Nu nog de bijpassende koffer haha
